    ARB Lockers are made from premium materials, including aerospace-grade, high-alloy steels. Plus, durability is engineered into ARB Lockers through unique design features. For example, torque loads are spread out over a larger number of pinion gears and gear teeth operate more efficiently, thanks to ARB's Timed Gear Technology. ARB Lockers are designed to take the abuses of regular off-road driving.

    ARB Lockers also undergo extensive testing to ensure a solid and efficient design. Virtual testing is done with computerized finite element analysis (FEA), which allows engineers to subject ARB Lockers to conditions that are more abusive than real-world driving situations. As well, ARB Locker prototypes face destructive lab tests, temperature tests, harsh wheel spin engagement tests, and long-cycle duration tests. The long-cycle duration tests recreate more than 20,000 actuations. Outside the lab, ARB Lockers are tested in the field on various 4WD vehicles. Through these thorough testing processes, engineers can ensure that ARB Lockers are among the strongest parts of your driveline.
